Scenes from the latest August Surfboard making course

Another board making class down, more timber surfboards in existence and five chuffed blokes ready to get in the water. 

Our August board makers pumped out two Bob's, two Dawn's and a V Dawn for good measure. These guys had similar thinking caps on and chose similar timber patterns - our most favoured pattern ... clearly popular for a reason. 

These boards are off to be professionally glassed by Stuart in the workshop, along with the perfected laser graphic of the Bywater Surf logo. 

With the first day of spring tomorrow, we're creeping closer to the end of the year - we've got one last timber Surfboard making class for 2022.
