If it’s a shortboard you are after the Fanny is for you with a little more volume than your standard shortboard, we have supplied you with a low roll throughout its length so you can shape back into the ribs to make it a single to double concave with chined rails or any combination you like. The reduced weight of a shortboard allows for more responsiveness to waves, but with less stability for paddling. Shortboards are often favoured in hollow, barreling waves, as their design allows surfers to tuck into the tube and ride the barrel.
Most commonly set up as a thruster board with quad set ups also popular. Ideal in a range of conditions but more suited towards bigger, powerful waves.
