Our passion for woodworking and surfing inspired us to create Brisbane’s Wooden Surfboard Making classes more than 10 years ago. If you think you're not quite up to making a board at home yourself with one of our kits, then the in-person workshops are for you.
Using traditional woodworking techniques, we have honed our skills, developed innovative board styles and patterns and now share all this with our students in our 4 Day Surfboard Making classes in our Boondall Workshop (North Brisbane).
Our wooden boards use no foam, but Australian Grown Paulownia, with features of western red cedar and cambia ash.
For over a decade we have been helping our students create the wooden surfboard of their dreams.
Our 4 day Wooden Surfboard Making Workshop caters to the complete woodworking novice as well as the experienced carpenter who is keen to flex his/her woodworking skills and create the ultimate wooden surfboard.
Our classes are a great chance to take some time out for yourself, get creative and learn a new hobby.
We provide all the materials and expertise so our students don't need to worry about anything.

We are happy to offer payment plans for our surfboard making classes - please get in touch with us to arrange.
We also accommodate for group bookings (maximum class size is typically 6 or 7). A great team bonding activity, a school excursion or for a family occasion!
