From Brisbane to the Huon Valley and Back - Sarah's Wooden Surfboard Journey

We love seeing the journey our workshop participants take—both creatively and geographically—and Sarah’s story is no exception.
Earlier this year, Sarah made the big trip down from sunny Brisbane (yes a fellow Queenslander) to join us in the stunning Huon Valley, Tasmania, for our Tasmanian wooden surfboard workshop.
With a passion for sustainability and a desire to build something meaningful with her own two hands, Sarah immersed herself in the 5 day workshop creating and shaping and enjoying being part of the Tasmanian Crew
The board Sarah chose ? The Classic Dawn - designed for maximum wave riding in all conditions and with that iconic nose shape.
The board then made its way back with us for Stuart to weave his magic in the glassing booth and resin coat that glorious timber deck.
Congruatulations to Sarah on creating a beautiful board and being part of our Tasmanian workshop.
We wish her many many hours of finding the perfect wave with her perfect board .
