The beauty of crafting your own surfboard is you have the means truly make it your own, with full choice over style, size and pattern. 

Bywater Surf has 8 different board styles to choose from, with differing lengths to suit your needs. Decide on your ultimate fin set up and the aesthetic of your board with 3 different pattern choices. 

While all of our surf kit plans are ready to go as is, there is scope to customise your board as you wish by manipulating the shape of the board as you craft it from scratch. Perhaps you want a deeper concave in the nose and a rolled V into the tail. 

Many of our surfboard making students have added to the look of their board with unique artwork or graphics. These are applied during the resin coating stage. Our Bywater wooden surfboards are more than just a board to ride, they have the grand capacity to be a work of art, telling a story or encapsulating the essence of the rider.
