Goodbye 2021, Hello 2022

2021 saw at least 21 brand new hollow wooden surfboards come to life in the Bywater Surf workshop here in Brisbane.

Take a peek into our last class in 2021, our October students had the best time crafting their board, adding to their quiver. It's a fun filled 4 days in the workshop, with full guidance from woodworking expert Stuart, you'll meet new friends and learn new skills.

We are excited to see what 2022 holds, we know for sure that it will be another great year filled with good waves, great company and seeing more students walk away with a work of art to last a life time. Whether you're into new year resolutions or not, why not add 'make my own surfboard' to the list. The Bywater Surf 2022 course dates are now set in stone, ready to be booked.

Will you make a sturdy Rose or perhaps a speedy Thorpe Gun? Two cedar pinstripes or three? We can even help you fully customise your board with personal art or graphics like a family crest should you desire.
