From the Workshop to the Waves; Bywater Surfboards in Action
It's one thing to see the beauty of these wooden surfboards freshly glassed and pristine but another thing to see them waxed up and amongst the waves. It's not uncommon for students to take their board straight to the coast upon picking it up after glassing is complete.
Lucky to be situated in South East Queensland, we are spoilt for choice when it comes to finding a decent wave break nearby. Along with a few interstate students at our board classes, the Bywater Surf wooden boards have gotten wet all along the East Coast of Australia from Sunny Coast down to Bells Beach. One has even made it over to Papua New Guinea and a few more soon to be tasting the ocean from the Maldives and Hawaii, once international travel is the norm.
The beauty of the Bywater Surf board range is that there is a board to suit anyone and to suit any wave, all tried and tested in most surf conditions. With Fish designs and guns through to 10'3'' Malibu we have something for everyone.
Let us know where you'll be taking your board once it's ripe and ready to ride. Not sure what board will be best for you? Get in touch with Stuart and he can walk you through all the options.
