A 7’10” Gould wooden surfboard and a ’76 Kombi… name a better duo..!

One of our Bywater Surf Collectors Edition boards has been on a fun roadie with a pristine VW Kombi ‘Ruby’ - a vibrant red number owned by a local Brisbane couple. 

This past weekend saw them make waves at the Valley of the Dubs VW show and Ruby was awarded ‘Best Bay Window Kombi’!

The classic beauty of a 70’s Kombi matches so perfectly with the craftsmanship of a stunning timber surfboard; both providing that nostalgic retro feel and a gentle nod to the coastal lifestyle back in the day. A German creation but with international admiration, these vehicles are a celebration of adventure and style.
