Diary of a Surfboard Maker - 4 Days of stoke

Congratulations to David, a newly minted member of an elite crew ie a graduate of the Bywater Surfboard making Workshop.

In four days, David, along with the rest of our awesome crew put his heart and soul into creating his very own hollow wooden surfboard.

David made the classic Perkins (5ft 7) for those playing at home and chose the iconic Pattern 8 with cedar on the outer panels for that striking visual appeal.

Amongst the laughter, the conversations, the coffee breaks there was high productivity .

Skills were learnt, stories were swapped and friendships were made.

Four unforgettable days , one unforgettable surfboard.
