At Bywater Surf, our classes aren’t just about learning to build a board, they’re about slowing down, getting creative and reconnecting with the simple joy of making.

 Over the course of the class you’ll craft a beautiful hollow timber surfboard from start to finish, guided step by step by Stu and our awesome crew

Our surfboard workshops are designed for absolute beginners right through to seasoned surfers who’ve always dreamed of riding something they built themselves. All tools, materials and guidance are provided, you just bring a bit of curiosity and a good dose of enthusiasm.
