Heading into the cooler months is one of our favourite times to run classes.

The workshop hums, the timber smells richer, and there’s something about crisp mornings and focused hands that just works.

Our 2026 Surfboard Class dates are officially off and running and if building your own hollow wooden surfboard has been on your list, now’s the time to lock it in.

Every class last year sold out, and the boards that left the workshop were something special. Watching each board take shape over four days never gets old.

Four full days in the workshop. Timber, tools, shaping, skinning, glassing and that magic moment when your board truly becomes yours.

Whether you’re drawn to a clean all-paulownia aesthetic or leaning into cedar panels and classic pinstripes, you’ll leave with a board that reflects your own style and a deeper understanding of how it’s built.
