Catchin' Waves - A Bywater board review
Recently, we had the pleasure of receiving some feedback from Harry, a past student and keen surfer. He took one of our wooden surfboards out for a ride on the Sunny Coast and his mate Pat got some epic footage too. "This board is super fun, super reliable, and glides through water," he shared of the twin fin 6’2” board.
While acknowledging that it takes a bit of effort to paddle into waves, once on it, the board "really flies." Harry's recommendation of an upright fin for added speed and power only amplifies our belief in the versatility of our wooden boards. Harry reckons this board is fit for beachbreaks or points.
Of course we are biased towards these wooden surfboards, so it’s a joy when our mates share the same thrill and enjoyment from surfing on wood, not foam.
