Add a new board to your quiver

Add a new board to your quiver

As the weeks of 2024 roll by, we get closer and closer to our first Wooden Surfboard making workshop of the year…
April 11th, the workshop will come alive over four days from Thursday to Sunday and we’ll have the pleasure of guiding participants through the journey of crafting a hollow timber surfboard. It is a fun and educational course, a chance to switch off from life and immerse yourself into an epic project. You’ll be amazed at what can be created with timber. We’ve been perfecting the process of our board-making over the years and because of that, the quality of these boards are irrefutable. These surfboards are as functional as they are beautiful. Once fully resin coated and glassed, these boards are ready for a long life in the ocean. They are a testament to your hard work and experience in building something from scratch yourself. Many people are opting for a classic timber approach to surfboarding, over the mass-produced foam boards that can often lack charm. Make a board with us and make some lifelong memories.

With a wide range of styles, sizes and timbers - you can customise your board to suit your needs. The beauty of timber, such as paulownia, offers uniqueness in its grain, where each board made is always different from the last. If you want to add an extra flair - be inspired by these creative additions of past boards.
No matter the skill level - anyone can complete their own wooden surfboard. This course is a fantastic introduction to woodwork if it’s a completely new territory, you’ll be guided every step of the way with expert teachers. Class sizes are kept small to ensure in-depth attention.

Our April intake is the first of three courses locked in for 2024, with the other two happening in July and October. We hope you can join us for an extraordinary surfboard making adventure. If you have any burning questions please reach out us to and we can provide you all the information you require.

There's nothing like the feeling of riding your own, hand-crafted wood surfboard - find out for yourself!
